CBSE board results 2025 soon, know where to check (Representative image/File)
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will likely announce the class 10 and class 12 results 2025 soon. Based on past trends, the results could be declared by mid-May. In 2024 and 2023, the results were released on May 13 and May 12, respectively.
Students can check their marks on the official website, results.cbse.nic.in. Other useful websites include cbse.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and digilocker.gov.in. Once released, students will need to provide their login details, including roll number, school number, and date of birth, to access their mark sheet.
CBSE 10th, 12th Result 2025: Steps To Check
Step 1: Visit the official website of CBSE at results.cbse.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link for the CBSE Class 10th Result 2025/ CBSE Class 12th Result 2025
Step 3: Now enter your roll number, date of birth and other required credentials
Step 4: Click on the submit button and your CBSE Result 2025 will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Check the CBSE 10th or 12th Result 2025 and download it
Step 6: Take a printout of your mark sheet for future reference. The original mark sheet will be issued by the schools later.
To pass the CBSE class 10 or class 12 exam, students need to achieve a minimum of 33 per cent in each subjects, as well as theory and practical combined. Those who score below the passing marks in any subjects will have to retake the exam. Those who fail in more than two subjects will have to repeat the whole year.
The scorecard will include details such as the student’s name, exam details, parents’ name, school name, date of birth, city and state, education board name, subject-wise marks, division, total marks, remarks (if any) and status (that is, pass or fail).
The CBSE Class 10 board results showed a pass rate of 93.60 per cent in 2024, while the CBSE Class 12 board results had a pass percentage of 87.98 per cent. Girls outperformed boys in both classes.
